Faculty types that will be submitting AAR for AY23-24*:

• Established Faculty Members and Established Postdocs 

  • Established faculty (including postdocs) members are those who were employed in the system in AY23-24 and prior. This means that they have professional activities to report.

• Faculty member in their 2nd year of Service

  • Year 2 Faculty members (including 2nd year postdocs): faculty members who started their first year at UAF in AY23-24 and now have AARs to report

*New Faculty members (including 1st year post docs) whose official start date is in AY24-25 (August 12, 2024 and forward) are not required to submit an AAR. 

*Per UNAC CBA article 9.2.1 bargaining unit members undergoing pre-tenure, promotion and/or tenure, and post-tenure review are not required to submit an AAR. 

Annual Activities Reporting (AAR) Options for Faculty

Option 1, Faculty 180 Submission, no longer available

Option 2: For year 2 (New) Faculty members (Faculty members, including postdocs, who started their first year in AY23-24)

    • Faculty will submit their CV and self-narrative in AirTable

**Caveat: 

• • • Faculty members who opt to fill out the Comprehensive Activities Report for their AY23-24 AAR instead of entering their AAR in F180 will NOT have a complete dataset when the data team extracts the data from Faculty180. 

    • Should ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê and Faculty Senate opt to proceed with another software platform and transfer the AAR data, the faculty member will NOT have a complete dataset, and must acknowledge that they may and/or will be required to fill in the AY23-24 activities.
