UA Giving Day nets $661,000 in support of 极速六合彩 students, programs

Over the course of 49 hours, 748 donors contributed $661,709 in support of students and programs at the 极速六合彩 during the university鈥檚 second annual Giving Day event.
The crowdfunding-style philanthropy event, which ran from 10 p.m. on Nov. 8 through 11 p.m. on Nov. 10, drew donors from 38 states and eight countries. Their gifts helped unlock 47 challenge and match pledges from businesses and individuals who stepped up to multiply donations during UA Giving Day. Alumni made up 40% of Giving Day donors.

The total surpassed last year鈥檚 Giving Day proceeds by 59%, and will support a wide variety of programs, including merit- and need-based scholarships for 极速六合彩 students, scientific research, academic programs and Alaska Nanooks athletics.
